But I suspect Cav thinks the Champ Elysees is in the bank. Even when losing Cavendish is the main story. There was no after-race-losing-tirade. He dealt with Veeler “on the field”:

Cavendish’s sprint train clearly isn’t quite working, but he was reluctant to discuss his relative lack of support in the closing kilometres – “We’ll talk about it later with the team,” he said quietly… But the real story is that Renshaw has just announced a move to Omega-Pharma Lotto. Cavendish’s team. Cav and Prince Harry reunited at last in one of cycling’s great bromances.
